Julienne M. Villarini

Founder and President

julie-bio-picJulie graduated from Northwestern University with a bachelor’s degree in Industrial Engineering and Management Sciences in 1992.  She was employed by Saturn Corporation as a manufacturing engineer until 2001, when she joined W. L. Gore & Associates, Inc. where she worked as a process improvement and project manager until 2010. She is currently self-employed as a project management consultant. She served as a mentor in the Cecil County (Maryland) Public Schools for 6 years and was an active member of the Junior League of Wilmington, DE until 2011. She has been volunteering her time and raising funds for Doña Chucha and Altagracia since 2008.

Richard S. Menendez

Vice President

richard-bio-picRick graduated from the College of Metaphysics, a not for profit organization based in Springfield, MO, and later served as director of the school’s branch locations in St. Joseph, MO and Mexico, MO. In 1985, he became President of Aero Contractors in Florissant, MO, and in 2001, he founded Sudden Impact, LLC, a marketing consulting firm with over 50 clients nationwide. In 2003, he joined Melani Brothers, Inc. of Yorktown, VA as Vice President of Sales and Marketing, helping the company to win the prestigious Replacement Contractor of the Year award in 2007. Rick is currently in research for 2 book projects and is involved with several benevolent causes involving Haitian earthquake relief and improving conditions for orphans in the Dominican Republic.

Amy B. Martens


Amy MartensAmy earned a BS degree in biology from Maryville University in 1997, a MA degree in biology from Washington University in 2002, and a MBA from Saint Louis University in 2009. She currently works as a research manager in the technology organization at Monsanto Company in St. Louis, MO. She has been an active volunteer with of the Muscular Dystrophy Association for over 13 years and supports other non-profit organizations in the St. Louis area through the United Way Women’s Leadership Society.

Jamie A. Malle


jaimee-bioJamie earned a bachelor’s degree in Actuarial Science and Business Management from Maryville University in 2002 and an MBA from the Marshall School of Business at the University of Southern California in 2012.  She currently works in International Financial Services at The Vanguard Group in Malvern, PA.  She has volunteered for various organizations such as Special Olympics, Junior Achievement, and Habitat for Humanity, and supports other non-profit organizations through Vanguard’s United Way Campaign.
